On the University of Denver Campus, Spring is in Bloom

This photo gallery dives into spring time on campus. The aim was to capture the warmth, joy, and peacefulness of campus as we come out of winter quarter. The trees are growing leaves again, the flowers are in bloom, and the sun is almost always shining. Even on days where students may have exams or other stressful events, our campus provides many places to sit outside and take a deep breath.

    Avery,

This is a photo slideshow that is put together very well. The title matches the photos and is supported by the overall description. I was drawn into the first photo of the pond and how it captures the ecosystem within. The second photo showing the trees in bloom and the matching sign signifying spring was a nice touch. Nice subtle angle of the bike resting in the sun, waiting to ride down the sidewalk. Nice creative angle of the Mary Reed building being framed by multiple trees. There is a nice low-to-high long-angle shot of various plants and trees blossoming around a DU campus building, which is then followed by an extreme close-up of a branch that is in blossom, signaling spring. You have shown a good transition from outdoor spring students’ experiences to inside the same buildings. You put a lot of time and thought into your photo slideshow with different camera angles, scenic photos of student experiences, and it tells a descriptive and visual story. Well done!
